If you've been by the lake lately, you already know — spring has arrived at Nokomis.
The ice is off Lake Nokomis. The beach path is filling back up with cyclists, joggers, and people who are just really, really happy to be outside again. And here at Nokomis Beach Coffee — your spot right in the heart of it all — we've been gearing up for this moment all winter.
We've got a brand new seasonal drink menu, some seriously good merch that just dropped, and plenty of reasons to stop in. Here's everything that's new this spring at NBC.
Introducing: Sips of Spring
Available March-May: Say hello to our spring seasonal menu — four new drinks built for the season, inspired by the flavors and energy of Nokomis in bloom. Whether you're a coffee purist or a matcha devotee, there's something in this lineup for you.
Golden Rose Latte (Available Hot & Iced)
Espresso with honey, rose flavor shot, and your milk of choice. This one is floral and smooth with just the right amount of sweetness — like a warm spring morning in a cup. The Golden Rose is already turning heads, and honestly, we get it.
Dragon Fruit Spritz (Iced Only)
Lemonade with dragon fruit lotus juice and sparkling water. Bright, bold, and absolutely made for the patio. If you're the type who likes your drink to look as good as it tastes, the Dragon Fruit Spritz is going to be your new go-to. Iced only — and that's the only way it should be.
Berry Bliss Matcha (Available Hot & Iced)
Matcha latte with blueberry flavor shot and your milk of choice. Earthy, fruity, and deeply satisfying. Our matcha fans have been waiting for something like this, and it did not disappoint during testing. Hot or iced, it works beautifully either way.
Midnight Blossom Lemonade (Iced Only)
Lemonade with blackberry and lavender flavor shot. Tart, fragrant, and a little mysterious — just like its name. This one is caffeine-free and iced only, making it the perfect afternoon pick-me-up after a walk around the lake. If you're not sure where to start with the spring menu, start here.

New Merch: The "Stranger but Once" Tee
We've been working on this one for a while, and we couldn't be more proud of how it turned out. Introducing the Nokomis Beach Coffee "Stranger but Once" tee — our first official piece of NBC merch, and we think it captures exactly what this place is about.
The back of the shirt features a hand-drawn illustration of the NBC shop — our little corner of Nokomis, sketched in beautiful detail — with the words "Stranger but Once" in script below it. It's a nod to the idea that everyone who walks through our doors is a stranger exactly once. After that, you're part of the NBC family.
The front carries our NBC logo — clean and simple. The shirts are comfort-fit tees available in two colorways:
Charcoal gray — white ink, classic and sharp
Ivory — black ink, soft and warm

Take Your Coffee to the Beach
One of the best things about being Nokomis Beach Coffee is that we are, quite literally, steps from one of the most beautiful stretches of shoreline in Minneapolis. And spring means it's time to use that.
Our outdoor seating is back open for the season. Grab a Dragon Fruit Spritz, head down to the south beach, find a bench facing the water, and just sit there for a minute. That's what we're here for.
