July gave us a lot to love — golden hour on the patio, lake days that turned into lake evenings, and a steady stream of neighbors keeping us busy behind the counter. Thank you for all of it. Now we're looking ahead, and August has a few things worth knowing about.

The Summer Days Menu Isn't Going Anywhere Yet

Good news for anyone still working through the lineup: the Summer Days menu is sticking around through August. That means there's still time to make one of these your go-to before the season turns:

Lake Life, Then the Fair

August at Lake Nokomis has its own rhythm — long evenings, packed beaches, and that particular energy of a summer that knows it's almost over. We'll be leaning into it before the season and neighborhood enters its next phase of 2026. And as August winds down, Minnesota State Fair season kicks off — we'll have your order ready either way, whether you're headed to the fairgrounds or staying local.

Late August also means back-to-school mornings for a lot of our neighbors. We know things are about to get busier — we'll be here with your order, and a few reminders throughout the month for anyone who's been away for a bit. We've missed you, and your usual spot is still open.
